Featuring the acclaimed Schnittke-centric cellist Alexander Ivashkin and pianist Anya Alexeyev, this concert brings together the "canonized" composers of the former Soviet Union, paying tribute to the 100th anniversary of Dmitri Shostakovich and to the recent passing of Russian-Canadian composer Nikolai Korndorf.
