The _____ Experiment (Michelle Cusick, clarinet; Drew Hosler, saxophone; Ava Wirth, oboe; and Maya Grossman, bassoon) brings their unique ensemble of reed instruments to Waterloo Region with a program that highlights their innovative approach to performance. Included is the World Premiere of Owen Bloomfield’s (Cambridge ON) setting of Richard Jeffrey Newman’s (Queens NY) “Do Not Wish For Any Other Life”, a fusion of spoken word and semi-improvised music.
