Penderecki String Quartet & Joseph Petric

KW’s own Penderecki String Quartet (Jeremy Bell, violin, Jerzy Kapłanek , violin, Christine Vlajk, viola, and Katie Schlaikjer, cello) brings their legendary commitment to new creation with their  long-time collaborator, accordionist Joseph Petric. This program offers a generational array of compositional voices in four world premieres of works for accordion and quartet by Boyd McDonald, Abigail Richardson-Schulte, Norbert Palej and a solo techno-chamber electroplay from Bekah Simms, in an evening of vibrant new chamber music conversations and composer portraits.
