WAM-250 is a contemporary look at Mozart in the 250th anniversary year of his birth. A world premiere by local composer David Wadley begins the program, followed by Peter Hannan’s percussion-heavy deconstructive hommage to Mozart, and Gyorgy Ligeti’s classic chamber concerto. The second half of the concert is Peter Greenaway’s short film “M is for Mozart” scored by Amsterdam’s notorious new music bad-boy Louis Andriessen.
