Recent productions include designer for Matt & Ben (macIDeas), Kilt (New Stages Peterborough), As You Like It (Theatre By The Bay), Comedy of Errors (Festival of Classics), Le Portrait de Manon & La Voix Humaine (Opera Ontario), A Gift To Last (set, Neptune Theatre), This Is Our Youth – directed by Woody Harrelson (set, macIDeas), Candide (costumes, University of Western Ontario), The Secret Garden (set, Theatre New Brunswick), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (set, Theatre By the Bay). Opera work includes Alcina (with Astrid Janson, UofT Opera Division), The Magic Flute School Tour (Canadian Opera Company), La Calisto, Euridice (Opera McGill). Michael recently completed his fourth season at the Stratford Festival designing The Triumph of Love at the studio theatre.
