Yves Charuest (saxophone) and Ellwood Epps (trumpet) are two of the busiest improvisers in the fertile improvised music scene in Montreal, performing with a who’s who of the city’s players, and with international guests such as Marshall Allen, Agusti Fernandez, William Parker, and Henry Grimes. The duo creates spontaneous music, drawing on their extensive experiences as musicians and the ever-changing energy and circumstances that each new performance brings.
