Up next, a mind-blowing (literally, according to recent accounts) lineup of recent works for orchestra with badass soloist, aka “concerto” for those who speak Italian. There will be music by Arvo Pärt, Henryk Gorecki, and Akira Nishimura. And someone might cut John Cage’s tie off with a pair of scissors. No promises though.
